Mandy Climer - Founder / Haiti Operations Director   Mandy first began work in Haiti in 2006 when she was involved with YWAM - this is when she received much of her missions training. While she was there, she saw the great need that existed in the country, and met some real people with some real needs, and she felt like God asked her to help meet those needs. Beautiful Child was birthed as an idea given to Mandy from God. Since that time, Mandy has worked consistenly at organizing ideas, developing a sponsorship program, and putting a team together. It is Mandy's goal to someday move to Haiti and oversee full-time the operations of the Beautfiul Child ministry in that country. Steve first began working with Mandy in the summer of 2007. Mandy told him about her dream of starting a sponsorship program and Steve couldn't help but get excited about the possibilities of meeting peoples needs in Jesus name. In fact, Steve's daughter Kaela, was the first official sponsor of one of the children at the orphanage Mandy was working with. Since then Steve has played a significant role in helping to organize and develop a team that will help make Beautiful Child an efective ministry.
